What is hard water? How does it affect my laundry?

Hard water is water that contains dissolved minerals such as calcium, manganese and magnesium. Clothes washed in hard water tend to look dull, grayed or yellowed. What does RainDrops do in the laundry?

RainDrops softens the water when added in the washer along with laundry detergent. Soft water aids in the rinsing process by removing minerals, soap and detergent deposits that build-up in your laundry. Your laundry will look brighter and whiter as RainDrops rinses away the dulling residue that detergents and hard water leave behind.

At what temperature will RainDrops remain effective?

RainDrops is most effective when stored at temperatures above 50° F and below 170°F.

Does RainDrops contain phosphates?

No, RainDrops is phosphate-free.

Can RainDrops be mixed with chlorine bleach?

RainDrops and chlorine bleach can be added to the same wash load.

Is the RainDrops package recyclable?

The RainDrops carton is made from 100% recycled paperboard which is considered recyclable.
